About the College

         Established in 1997, Late Panchafulabai Pawade Arts and Commerce Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Warud is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The college got UGC recognition under section 2(F) in 2007 and u/s 12 (b) in 2010 . It is undergraduate women college imparting educational facilities to rural and minority women students to attain empowerment of women. It is govern and managed by Raje Sambhaji Maharaj Shikshan Sanstha, Amravati and situated in a campus of 2 acres in a semi-urban / rural area, 87 Km away from Amravati and 100 Km away from Nagpur and known as 'California of Vidharbha' due to large number of famous Nagpuri Orange orchards. It caters the educational need of rural and minority women students irrespective of caste, creed and colour and contributed to society a good number of value based citizen.

         Since its inception college introduced only Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) grant in aid programme in Arts faculty. In 2013 the college introduced Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) on permanent non-grant basis programme to cater the aspiring needs of women students. It has a study center of YashwantraoChavhan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik introduced in 2018-19 offers B.A. degree course for the people who are on the jobs or anyone who couldn’t complete their education due to the adversity can take education from this center.

         College has In-door Sports Stadium for indoor games and large play ground to inculcate sports among the students for outdoor games. It has facilities like Health Center, Internet Access, Auditorium, Library, Laboratories and Women Hostel. Out of 11 full-time permanent faculties, 08 are Ph.D. holders and 04 research guides are Supervising the Ph.D.
